Our community has and continues to show their support for our individuals and staff by welcoming us into every aspect of this wonderful place we all call home, and we are so very thankful for everything, every single day!
The Los Alamos Community Foundation Board chose AIF to receive a $1,000 grant for providing opportunities for community engagement, programs, and support for adults with developmental disabilities, and also stated that Doris Roberts is "proof that angels roam among us."
Valley Lodge Masons #69 awarded AIF with $10,000 to help with the expenses of providing the best, safest, and fun environment for our clients. The expenses will help cover costs for Field Trips, craft supplies, Vehicle maintenance, and so much more.
Kroger - Smiths has also donated to our cause in the area of cooking. We cook a meal twice a month, which assists individuals in preparing simple, healthy meals with picture/word recipes. Thank you, Kroger-Smiths, for all the good work you do!
